LPG Sweetening

Liquefied petroleum gas or liquid petroleum gas (LPG or LP gas), also referred to as simply butane or propane,  are flammable mixtures of hydrocarbon gases used as fuel in cooking equipment, vehicles, and heating appliances. Sulfur compound impurities in LPG are mainly  hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and carbonyl sulfide (COS), mercaptans (RSH). GAHARCERAM provide high performances adsorbents for sweetening og LPG and other hydrocarbon streams

Adsorbents for LPG sweetening

GSorb-520

It is calcium type molecular sieve zeolite adsorbent, 5A, available in different shapes (Spherical, cylindrical Pelletand Trilobe). GSorb-520 has an effective pore opening of about 5 angstroms (0.5 nm). It will adsorb molecules with kinetic diameters of less than 5 angstroms and exclude those larger

Gox-130

Type 13X molecular sieve used as mercaptan removal, catalyst carrier, air compressor systems, solvent purification and drying of sulfureted hydrogen as well as separation of carbon dioxide, oxygen and water from air. Geox-130 can be used for H2O, CO2 removal from hydrocarbon streams. Furthermore it can adsorb olefins, aromatic componts, SOx and NOx. It has high capacity and high adsorption rate compared to other type of adsorbents
