Air Drying

air drying

Air dryers used for removing water vapor from compressed air. Air compression concentrates water vapor and this raises the dew point of the compressed air relative to free atmospheric air and leads to condensation within pipes. Excessive water in compressed air, can cause a variety of operational problems such as freezing of outdoor air lines, corrosion in piping and equipment, failing pneumatic process control instruments, fouling of processes and products, etc. Desiccants are a group of adsorbent material that have a great affinity for water vapor. A good desiccant must  have better moisture adsorption capability as well as lower regeneration temperature. GAHARCERAM provide a wide range of desiccants with high affinity and physical resistance for effective water removal

Our Products for air drying

GSorb-410
4A molecular sieve is a sodium type molecular sieve zeolite adsorbent, available in different shapes. It has an effective pore opening of about 4 angstroms (0.4 nm). It will adsorb most molecules with kinetic diameters of less  than 4 angstroms and exclude those larger. 4A molecular sieves are usually used for drying of various streams such as air drying, natural gas dehydration, etc

GSorb-310
3A Molecular Sieve, has an effective adsorbent for this purpose with pore opening of about 3 angstroms(0.3 nm)This is large enough to allow in moisture, but excludes other molecules, so water content can be decrease effectively and can be an ideal choice for air drying
