mercury guard

Crude oil and natural gas condensate contain various metals including low levels of mercury, which can cause various problems, e.g., catalyst degradation, piping corrosion, etc. For example, corrosion of piping in natural gas production plants, blockage of LPG vaporizers, and damage to aluminum components in heat exchangers are presented. Silicates, alumina, activated carbon, and other materials are all effective adsorbents combined with metal sulfides for removing mercury from natural gas. However, these conventional adsorbents result in a further problem that the metal sulfide dissolves in the petroleum products, such as naphtha. GAHARCERAM provide high performance Metal Sulfide as well as Carbon Active base adsorbents as Mercury Guard

High adsorption capacity and long effective adsorbent life

Mercury Removal to very low level

Cost effective mercury removal

Products

GSorb-200

It is a spherical metallic sulfide supported adsorbent designed to very high level mercury adsorption from gas and liquid streams. Its proprietary features such as, fully recyclable disposal, high capacity and high adsorption rate, have made it an ideal choice as mercury guard

GSorb-210

GSorb-210 is a Activated Carbon base adsorbent for Mercury. Activated carbon serves as an excellent carrier for various impregnants, which physically react with the mercury and hold it within the adsorbent particles. Very high levels of purity can be attained because of the high mercury removal efficiencies attained by the adsorption process.
