Activated Alumina

Activated alumina is a high surface area and highly porous form of aluminum oxide that can be employed for contaminant species adsorb from ether gases or liquids without changing its form. It has some special characteristics that make it ideal for many industrial process settings. This includes a high crush strength, resistance to thermal shock, resistance to chemical attack, etc. The characteristic that has pushed activated alumina to the forefront of many applications is its capability as an adsorbent, courtesy of its high porosity and surface area

High chemical redsistance

Effective for wide range of contaminants

Low attrition due to great phisical properties

Products

GSorb-100
a standard high performance, high porosity, high surface area activated alumina product with gamma and chi structure and trace of other alumina phases
Dehydration       ✔ Air Compressors       ✔ Guard

GSorb-101
GSorb-101 is customized to provide optimum adsorption of HCl from vapor and liquid phase process streams such as hydrogen, naphtha, gasoline and other liquids in wide temperature range applications (ambient up to 350 ̊C). It can be also utilized in numerous CO2 and sulfur removal applications. The high macro-porosity of GSorb-101 improves diffusion rates to assure high HCl and other contaminants adsorption capacity
Halogen Removal (Floride, Choloride, etc)

GSorb-122
GSorb-122 is activated alumina with dominated gamma structure and trace of other alumina phases such as delta, eta and kappa that developed by GAHARCERAM. It is specific adsorbent of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in anthraquinone production. It can highly adsorb the degradation of hydrogenation, reduce the consumption of anthraquinone and stabilize working fluid components
